Confirmation Emails: After you make an online booking and payment, you'll receive an automated email from Dragon Wings. Please take a moment to review the details and make sure everything is correct.


Additional Information: Once we manually process your order, we'll send you another email with important information such as specific pick-up instructions and the driver's telephone number. It's essential to check these details and keep them easily accessible. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds if you forget or make mistakes regarding your destination and times.


Unforeseen Circumstances: Dragon Wings cannot be held responsible for missed flights or delays caused by factors beyond our control, like traffic congestion, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather conditions, or any unexpected events. However, if we experience a breakdown or accident during your trip, we'll make every effort to continue your journey at our expense, such as by arranging a third-party operator on your behalf.


Allow Sufficient Time: We recommend that you plan to arrive at the airport at least 2.5 hours before your flight departure to account for any unforeseen delays along the way. Dragon Wings cannot be held responsible if you miss your flight due to insufficient time allowed. You can find approximate travel times to common destinations and airports on our website, but we also suggest checking Google Maps for a more precise estimate based on your address. While you may choose to arrive at the airport closer to your flight departure time, Dragon Wings cannot accept responsibility for missed flights in such cases.


Travel Insurance: We strongly advise all passengers to have adequate travel insurance before making a booking. It’s not nice when things don’t quite go to plan - for whatever reason - but travel insurance can be surprisingly affordable and could save you time, money and stress!


Alternative Transport: If you decide to take alternative transportation or don’t wait for your driver to arrive, Dragon Wings will not be responsible for any associated costs.


Passenger and Luggage Capacity: Please ensure that the passenger and luggage requirements do not exceed the capacity of the booked vehicle. We can’t take responsibility if your luggage is too much for the type of vehicle booked, but we are here to help! If you're uncertain about the vehicle's capacity, please contact us before the journey. During the booking process, you'll see an indication of the passengers and luggage space. However, for extra items or large luggage like sports equipment, it's best to check with us before finalising your booking.


Secure Luggage Storage: For passenger safety, taxi licensing regulations require all luggage to be securely fastened in the vehicle's boot. Please consider this when selecting a vehicle, as it's neither practical nor legal for a passenger to have a small suitcase on their knee, for example.


Animals on Board: Dragon Wings reserves the right to refuse carriage of animals if not agreed upon at the time of booking. If animals are allowed, they must be secured in a suitable transport box or crate. Any costs incurred due to non-compliance with these terms will be the passenger's responsibility.


Route Discretion: The exact route taken during your journey is at the driver's discretion on the day of travel. If you have any alternate route requests, the driver will assess them on a case-by-case basis.


Arrival Information: Please provide us with your arrival times and day into the UK, not your departure information. For us to be able to track your arrival times and terminals, we require your flight number.


Flight Delays: While we can generally track your flight, if your flight experiences significant delays, please inform us as soon as possible.


Availability and Third-Party Operators: At Dragon Wings, we strive to use our own transport, and our booking portal reflects live availability. However, in unforeseen circumstances when a vehicle is unexpectedly unavailable, we may use third-party companies to fulfil the booking.


Secure Card Payments: Rest assured that all card payments are processed securely via our booking application. Dragon Wings does not process or retain card details.


Vehicle Damages: Passengers are responsible for any costs incurred to repair or professionally clean the vehicle if the damage caused exceeds reasonable wear and tear.


POLICIES & NOTICES


Arrivals Waiting Time: When picking up from an airport, Dragon Wings allows passengers one hour from the time the flight lands to meet their driver. After this period, waiting time is charged at £10 for every 30 minutes. If you request a later pick-up time, the waiting time will be calculated from the pre-arranged notice.


Meet and Greet Option: If you didn't request the meet and greet option at the time of booking, we'll assume a standard collection (e.g. find us in the short stay/give the driver a call).


Booking Adjustments: You can request adjustments or changes to your booking up to 72 hours before the scheduled pickup or arrival times. Any price changes will be processed manually through refunds or extra payment requests.


Unscheduled Waiting Time: For all other journeys, any unscheduled waiting time will be charged at £10 for every 30 minutes, either from the scheduled collection time or for any stops en route. If you anticipate any delays to the journey, such as picking up a passenger en route, please calculate and arrange for it prior to booking. Dragon Wings will not accept responsibility for costs incurred due to unscheduled delays.


Inclusive Tolls: All tolls are included in any online quotes you receive.


Amendments and Cancellations: Any amendments to your booking must be made via email or telephone, and you'll receive an email confirming the changes. Please avoid making amendments with your driver on the day of travel. Dragon Wings accepts cancellations up to 72 hours before the travel time free of charge. Please note that an administration fee of £10 will be deducted from any refund amount after closer than 72 hours before departure time. No refund will be made for cancellations less than 24 hours from pick up time. All cancellation requests must be made via email. We'll confirm the cancellation via email, so if you don't receive a confirmation, please double-check with us (before 24 hours).


Refund Policy: Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

No refund will be made if a passenger fails to show up for a pre-paid journey.

No refund will be made for cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or after the scheduled travel time.


Cancellation through Delays:
We allow a certain amount of flexibility in leaving space in our booking schedule to allow for delays on UK arrivals. However, if a delay is more than 5 hours, we reserve the right to cancel and issue a part refund of 80% of journey booking fee. We will always send notification if this is the case, and will do our best to hold on for you after 5 hours if our appointment calendar allows us to do so! In any case,           we pride ourselves on good communication, so will keep in touch as much as we can should any delays occur. In some cases, rather than refund/cancellation, we may be able to assign a third party to complete the booking should any of our existing appointments overlap through an extended delay. Again, we will let you know via email or SMS so you should be informed when you land and connect online.


Complaints: If you have any complaints about our service, please submit them in writing to our office within 30 days of the event that gave rise to the complaint. We strive to prioritise your satisfaction and ensure a pleasant and punctual journey.

To meet these obligations, we securely store and retain all records, including journey details and customer information, for a minimum period of 6 months. This ensures compliance with regulatory standards and facilitates any necessary audits or inspections by Swansea Council or the Police. Your information is handled with utmost care and stored securely during this retention period.
