Q: What size car do I need?

A: Our form will detect your passenger and luggage requirements and suggest the (available) vehicle for the journey. As a general rule, our estate cars are spacious and comfortable and will easily accommodate 4 adults with suitcases and hand luggage. If you’re travelling with pushchairs, golf clubs, or any oversize items, it may be useful to check with us first. We’re also upgrading our fleet very soon to accomodate more journeys for 5 or 6 passengers with luggage. 


Q: How do I book?

A: Making a booking is easy! You can use our Instant Online Quote form on the website for a quick and hassle-free experience. Our form is always live and reflects the availability and prices accurately - so you can be assured that when you book we’ll be there! We’ll even give you a message or call near to your travel date for extra reassurance!  If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out to us with an email or give us a call. We're here to help!


Q: What confirmation messages will you send?

A: As soon as your booking is made and paid for online, you’ll receive a confirmation email detailing your payment and the journey date and time. Please double check this! We offer refunds up till 48 hours before the journey, so worth making sure everything is correct! We also normally send an SMS, email or call sometime before your journey to check all is still good. From time to time, we may also contact you with a request for a review of our service or details of loyalty discount codes etc for future trips.


Q: How do I find my driver at an airport?

A: Don't worry about finding your driver! We'll provide all the necessary pick-up instructions in your confirmation email. As we have your flight number, we can track your arrival time and be ready for you. If you have selected the meet and greet service we’ll be at the arrivals hall with your name/details on an iPad screen.


Q: Are you able to 'Meet and Greet'?

A: Our 'Meet and Greet' service is an extra-special touch! For an additional fee, which covers our parking charges, we will park and meet you with a name board at the appropriate arrivals location. If you prefer not to have your name displayed, please just let us know and arrange a special recognisable word - it's all about ensuring a personalised and comfortable experience!


Q: Will there be extra charges if my plane is delayed?

A: Not at all - no need to worry about flight delays! We'll track your plane's progress while it's in the air. Lots of providers charge extra which is an unwelcome surprise, but with Dragon Wings, you won't incur any extra charges due to delays. It’s beyond your control, so we’re happy to take out any stress caused by delayed fights and just be there when you arrive. If your plane is delayed more than 5 hours, this may affect our next booking so we reserve the right to cancel and refund (minus processing fee). We will always email if this happens, but generally speaking we leave space to allow for delays so would be very rare for us to have to cancel.


Q: Is Dragon Wings licensed and insured?

A: Absolutely! We are fully licensed and insured, so you can have complete peace of mind while travelling with us. Furthermore, we abide by the conditions laid out by Swansea Council including safeguarding - all drivers have enhanced DBS certificates and vehicles are safe, fully insured and regularly inspected by the council. 


Q: What happens if I haven't received confirmation and my journey is coming up?

A: If you haven't received confirmation and your transfer is approaching, don't panic! It could be due to a misspelt email address, spam filters or other server reasons. If you paid online successfully we should have your details. Just get in touch with us by phone or email and we'll swiftly assist you with your booking.


Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: You can cancel your booking free of charge up to  72h before your journey. You can still cancel after that but the refund will be subject to an administration fee (see terms and conditions).


Q: Will you meet us anytime of day or night?

A: Absolutely! We provide a 24-hour service because all our bookings are pre-booked. Whenever you need us, we'll be there to meet you, day or night.


Q: Can I drink, smoke or eat in the car?

A: We aim to provide a fresh and enjoyable environment for all passengers. Therefore, in compliance with UK law, our vehicles operate under a strict non-smoking policy. Passengers consuming alcohol is down to the driver’s discretion but generally not permitted (honeymoons, birthdays etc can be OK, as long as the driver’s working conditions are respected - best to let us know beforehand). We do offer a small selection of complimentary snacks and chilled drinks on all airport transfer journeys.


Q: What about booster seats and child seats?

A: You need to supply your own child seat or booster seat, though, we often have a spare booster seat, just in case. If you’d like us to store your child seat for the return trip, that’s no problem at all.
